  • Click on the ‘Feature not enabled’ tab if you had not enabled the ‘Find my device’ feature.
  1. Open the ‘Find my device’ app on another device or visit the website.
  2. Log in with the same Google account as the one on the lost device. Google will try to connect to your phone.

  4. Go to the location to retrieve your phone.

  • You can make your phone ring for 5 minutes, even if it's on silent mode.
  • You can remotely lock your phone and sign out of your Google account. This will prevent anyone from accessing your device. Once you recover your phone, you can unlock it again.

  • You can erase your data if you are worried about not getting your phone back. Be aware that after erasing, you will no longer be able to track the device.

Here’s how you can still protect your data:

  • Change the password of the account you were logged into on your phone. This will prevent others from accessing your account and using apps on your device.
  • Change all other passwords for accounts on your phone: email, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, …
  • Report the lost or stolen device to the police.
  • Remove the lost phone from the list of trusted devices.
