Contest rules Cyber Cop
1. Organisation
The contest is organised by Mobile Vikings NV, with registered offices at the address Kempische Steenweg 309 bus 1, 3500 Hasselt.
Mobile Vikings will set up a candid camera prank within the framework of its new “irresponsibly fast” campaign (hereinafter called “the Prank”).
Within this framework, Mobile Vikings organises a contest, as specified hereafter.
Participation in the competition presupposes that participants unconditionally accept these rules. No dispute in this matter will be taken into account.
2. Period
The Prank will be carried out between June, 5th 2023, and 6 June, 6th 2023, to be coordinated between Mobile Vikings and the winners.
Subscriptions will be open as from May, 18th 2023.
3. Who can participate?
The contest is open to all Mobile Vikings customers, aged 18 and older, living on Belgian territory, except for staff and employees of Mobile Vikings and other companies involved in the organisation of the contest.
Each person can participate once. When someone enters the contest multiple times or with multiple accounts, only the first entry will count.
Participation will be possible by online subscription, i.e. by filling in a subscription form providing the details of (i) the participant and (ii) the person the participant wants to prank, as well as the reason why the participant wants to prank this Viking.
Both participants should be a customer of Mobile Vikings.
Mobile Vikings is entitled to exclude a person from participation in contests for a certain period in the event of any abuse of the terms for participation, lack of fair play or should the participant demonstrate abusive or misleading behaviour or participate in the contest in bad faith.
4. Content of the Prank and prize
The Prank consists of the setting of a scene by Mobile Vikings where the pranked Viking is chased by “Pakman” because he/she is surfing too fast on the Mobile Vikings internet network. This chase will be filmed by a candid camera and afterward used by Mobile Vikings for commercial purposes (i.e. online and social media).
The participant must be aware that the pranked Viking will not be aware/informed of what is about to happen and confirms that he/she estimates that the pranked Viking will agree to this candid camera chase and does not suffer from any medical history that might impact the Prank.
After the Prank, both participants shall be asked to give their express written approval for (i) the use of their data, image, and possible intellectual property rights for the setup and shooting of the Prank and (ii) the use of the audio and video of the Prank by Mobile Vikings for commercial purposes (promotion of the Mobile Vikings products and services).
In case the pranked Viking refuses to give his/her approval, Mobile Vikings will not proceed with the use of the shot audio or video and will erase them within the shortest delay.
Subscriptions will be open as from May, 18th 2023 until May, 23rd 2023. The Prank will be carried out between June, 5th 2023, and June, 6th 2023, to be coordinated between Mobile Vikings and the selected participants.
Two participants shall be selected based upon the most original motivation for the Prank. They will be notified by e-mail.
All practical arrangements will be settled between Mobile Vikings and the participant by e-mail or phone.
The selected participants (first participant as well as pranked Viking) will, in any case, receive the 70 GB Mobile Vikings mobile subscription for 12 months, for a value of 12 x 29 EUR = 348 EUR, independently of them giving their approval or not to use the results of the Prank.
This prize will be solely paid out in Viking Points, according to the Viking Deals general terms and conditions. The Viking Points can be used to lower the Mobile Vikings bill (1 Viking Point = 1 EUR). It is indivisible and must be accepted as such. The prizes may under no circumstances be exchanged for other products or cash.
The Viking Points will be distributed to the relevant participants’ accounts about a week after the Prank was recorded.
5. Identification
The identity of (i) the participant and (ii) the pranked Viking is defined on the basis of the data provided by this latter.
Mobile Vikings cannot be held liable if the identification of a participant is impossible due to incorrect or incomplete data communicated by the participant.
The use of false data leads to the exclusion of the participant in accordance with art. 3.
6. Privacy Statement
Personal data:
Each participant to the Prank shall provide the following personal data to Mobile Vikings:
- Name
- Mobile number
- E-mail address
As well as:
- The name
- Mobile number
Of the pranked Viking.
For the shooting of the Prank, the participants explicitly allow the use of their image (photo, video, and audio).
Purpose:
The personal data is processed by Mobile Vikings for the following purposes:
- The handling of the contest and the Prank;
- The creation & distribution of the audio and video shot during the Prank;
- The payment of the contest prize.
Companies with whom your information is shared:
The provided personal data can be shared by Mobile Vikings with third parties within the framework of the set up of the Prank, such as the producer “Ongezien” (Ongezien BV, Begijnenvest 40, bus 301, 2000 Antwerpen, BTW BE 0785.566.871).
The image and sound recordings made of you as a contributor to an audio-visual production of Mobile Vikings can be passed on by Mobile Vikings to its suppliers and partners with a view to finishing the production, as well as to any party with which Mobile Vikings collaborates directly or indirectly with a view to the screening, broadcasting or distribution of the audiovisual content.
Term:
The above personal data will not be kept by Mobile Vikings longer than necessary for the realization of the above-mentioned purposes. The personal data necessary in the context of the accounting processing of the agreed prize will be kept for a period that corresponds to the legal provisions in this regard. Image and sound recordings will be kept for the duration of the exploitation of the audiovisual work concerned.

6. General terms
Mobile Vikings is not responsible for any damage, physical injury, accident or death that may result from participation in the Prank.
Mobile Vikings cannot be held responsible if the contest should have to be modified, suspended or cancelled due to force majeure or circumstances beyond its control.
Mobile Vikings cannot be held responsible for technical problems of any kind or for communication problems. Any participation in the contest implies acceptance of the characteristics which are specific to the Internet, in particular technical capabilities and the time required for consultation, questioning, transferring information, interruption, and more specifically the risks inherent in any connection to / transmission via the Internet, the absence of protection of certain data against possible theft and the risks of contamination by possible viruses circulating on the Internet. No complaint may be filed with Mobile Vikings concerning these restrictions.
No purchase is required to participate in the contest.
There shall be no correspondence about the contest rules, the organisation and/or the binding and irrevocable result of the contest (letters, e-mails and/or telephone conversations). All additional statements related to the contest shall be regarded as part of the rules. All decisions made by the organisation shall be final.
The participants in the contest shall refrain from negative public communications with regard to the contest and Mobile Vikings.
Any abuse, misleading or fraudulent behaviour shall give Mobile Vikings the express right to immediately exclude the participants concerned from this contest and/or any other contests organised by Mobile Vikings.
Participation in the contest implies the processing of the personal details of the participant, so that Mobile Vikings can inform the participant about the course of the contest. This processing happens according to the abovementioned Privacy Statement, as well as the Mobile Vikings Privacy and cookie policy. Mobile Vikings has the right to change certain parts of these rules for organisational reasons.
Any complaint concerning this competition must be sent in writing, no later than 10 calendar days after the end of the competition, to the following address: Mobile Vikings S.A., Kempische Steenweg 309/1, 3500 Hasselt.
In case of disputes, the courts of Antwerp, department Hasselt are competent. This contest is subject to Belgian law.
