5G users should not be worried. Initially, 5G will rely on the frequencies that 2G, 3G and 4G are currently using. The launch of 5G in Belgium is also taking place over frequency bands that radio, television and Wi-Fi already rely on. Thanks to the numerous studies that have been conducted over the past 30 years, we already know that no harmful effects have ever been found in this frequency range. On top of that, 5G radiation is able to target the actual users better, which means that it will no longer cause a general web of radiation hanging over us.

Established upper limits electromagnetic field
Many scientific organisations, such as the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), regulate exposure to radio waves from mobile networks and other electrical devices in Europe. They have established strict limits for the electromagnetic field created by 5G, that already include a safety margin. Thanks to these strict standards, your safety and health will not be harmed by 5G radiation. The World Health Organisation confirms this.

Besides the regulations, exposure to radio waves is carefully controlled to ensure that there are no health risks, even over time. Every day additional research on the technology is done to detect every minor possible risk. And lastly, the three regions of Belgium respect standards that are even stricter than the internationally agreed guidelines. This means that Belgium is four times as strict as our neighbouring countries, so you certainly don't need to worry while surfing!
